Map Ta Phut in Rayong is Thailand's refining and petrochemical centre, with many process exchangers and regular turnaround replacements. Elsewhere, sugar mills (Thailand is one of the world's largest sugar exporters) run evaporators and juice heaters that need tube plate replacements between crushing seasons.
Power plants and food processing plants add condensers, coolers and stainless heaters.

Sugar mill maintenance runs on the cane calendar. Evaporators and juice heaters have to be ready before crushing starts, so tube plate replacement is squeezed into the months between seasons.
Drawings or surveys of worn plates sent right after the season leave enough time for material, drilling and inspection.
Stainless 304 and 316L are common; some older designs use brass. Match the tube material so the joint doesn't corrode galvanically. See sugar industry tube sheets.
