Roughly half the weight of stainless, excellent seawater resistance

Titanium tube sheets weigh roughly 44% less than stainless or duplex equivalents at the same dimensions, while offering corrosion resistance in seawater and chlorine environments that rivals or beats duplex and super duplex. It's the specification of choice when weight matters as much as corrosion resistance — offshore platforms, ship retrofits, and any application where topside weight has a real structural or cost impact.

Grade 2 (commercially pure) covers the large majority of tube sheet applications; Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) adds roughly triple the yield strength where a genuine structural strength requirement exists beyond standard pressure-boundary design.
